TODAY OUTSIDE THE CLOSET:

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK PART I

and - Wednesday Wants - A bucket of ice!

OK it may not be fashionable to say this but NYC was so hard on my feet! I came home with puff balls where my feet use to be! And I was in flats! My heels never saw the light of day. And by the way, I am a native New Yorker but after years in LA I realized how spoiled I am, I drive everywhere!  Oh but was it worth it - YES!!!  My fashion police and I had an absolute blast, is this really work!?!

We kicked it off on Thursday, September 6th, which was Fashion's Night Out around the globe. We landed in SoHo. Favorites for me were the lively atmosphere of the streets and the vibe at Kate Spade and BCBG.

We spent Friday in the tents at Lincoln Center where I loved taking pictures of my daughter while the photogs where taking pictures of her. Check her out on Cosmo UK's Street Style page.  She was also interviewed by Seventeen Magazine, looking forward to seeing that!  We saw some gorgeous designs for Spring 2013 and I got to re-connect with the beautiful Tiffany Rogers of Style by Tiffani.

Color is coming for Spring 2013 as seen at the W118 Walter Baker Presentation.

The Rebecca Minkoff collection was done with more subtle color and an island vibe.

More on this gorgeous ones style at Fashionloft8.

I need some of these earrings.

The 'By Misha's Wishing Well Collection' had my mouth hanging open. The line is stunning and mixed with the space was breathtakingly beautiful not to mention the best little mini cupcake treats and little wishing well key favors to unlock your own personal wishing well. Beautifully creative.

My Fashion's Night Out accessories.

Must mention this dream machine by Maybelline dispensing free eye shadow, lipstick and nail polish. That's my kind of vending machine!

You can see all of the Spring 2013 collections here.

Part II to come, right now I have to go back to soaking my feet :/
