My favorite thing to do for birthdays and holiday's with my friends and family is just spend time together making memories. Of course when it comes to the other women in your life if that time can be spent in a spa, well, all the better! My favorites, starting with the most economical, the Day Spa at my Gym, they run two for one sales on facials and massages every time there's a holiday and you can stash them away to use any time. So if there is a spa at your gym or a small local spa in your neighborhood inquire about seasonal specials and get on their mailing list. The Ojai Valley Inn and Spa in Ojai California is one of my favorites, it's the ultimate and it's pricey, but worth every cent. Burk Williams, also pricey, also worth it and they are in most every city.

Nothing says holiday's like a warm snugly pair of flannel PJs and if you have a soft chenille throw and a warm mug of coca to go with it all the better. Then get Tranquil, preferably in front of the fire, with one of Kimberly Wilson's fabulous books and learn the art of tranquility. And don't forget the slippers! You may think they are a boring gift but think again. And throw out the drab ratty pair you've been wearing for the last few years. This wool pouch is perfect for, well, anything, use alone or inside to organize your tote. And a set of Sonia Kashuk brushes are a girls make-up routines best friend.
I can't say enough about this hat because I have it in all three colors, (black, camel and burgundy), it looks good on everyone and with everything, period. The over sized sweater is so warm and cozy. The Rule the World t-shirt is a must. Embellished gloves because baby it's cold outside. The faux fur snood will keep everyone's neck cozy and fabulous and last but not least the Donavon Bentley Rain Boots that I'm completely mad for.

If you know your friends favorite color or the accent color she's using in her home, whatever you get, like this turquoise vase, will be extra special. A festive holiday pillow makes a great gift. If there's a tea lover in your life the choices are endless. A French press is also a tea press or opt for tea bags there's so much to choose from. Candles are one of my favorite gifts to give and receive, you can't have enough candles. And a set of glasses always comes in handy for the holidays!
